Our Hotel is the perfect spot for an active as well as relaxing holiday in the North German mountainous region of the "Harz". We are located in the city of Braunlage known for it's clean air and classified as climatic health resort with healing clean air. The city of Braunlage is knows for it's mountain the "Wurmberg" the highest mountain in the state of Niedersachsen, North Germany.

In our small cosy family run 4 Stars Hotel we offer you well decorated rooms, new bathrooms, our breakfast buffet with fresh and regional products, our heated pool, parking and peaceful quite rooms all looking into our lovely garden with private terrace or private balcony.

Kindly note we are a complete non-smoking hotel. Smoking ist alt not permitted on the premises, hotel, rooms or balcony. You can smoke on the street at the front of the hotel but you have to keep your cigarette ends and it is not allowed to leave them on the floor.

We accept dogs only on demand and dogs may stay with us for free except for an one time cleaning fee of Euro 35,00 applies. Dogs must be registered together with the reservations and rooms are subject to availability.

In order to safeguard the tranquility of our small cozy hotel we do not offer group booking (even when placed). A group booking is defined by 2 rooms or more. This is part of our terrms and condtions and overules any possible made reservation.

Our Hotel is situated at the "Hasselkopf" which is a 620 meter high mountain within the southern city limits of Braunlage. Our Hotel is known for it's quite and peaceful location - in the morning you wake up with birds singing. All amenities of Braunlage are in walking distance from our Hotel.

Hotel Hasselhof was built in 1906 and founded as a guest house and Hotel in 1913. We are one of the traditional and renowned Hotels in Braunlage. Since years we are the best rated Hotel in Braunlage with Booking.com.

Braunlage and the "Harz" offers you a plentiful of outdoor activities. The nearby Wurmburg offers mountain bike and hiking trails, activities for the family like the waterworld on top of the Wurmberg and 14 different Ski downhill trails in Winter. The furnicular will bring you up to the top of the hill in severall minutes. From December until April the Wurmberg offers you snow guarantee. The Harz is a true alternative for hiking, biking and skiing and centrally located in North Germany.

Our Hotel offers you a heated pool 10,00 x 4,00 meter. For next winter season we will offer our guests additionally a new sauna. We offer free parking, fast Internet and a large lobby room to stay as well as a wide range of Sky channels (German and English). Our breakfast buffet is know for it's fresh and regional products. Specialities from the Harz and world wide. Fresh cut fruit salat and fresh squeezed orange juice every day, as well fresh bred and rolls from our local bakery. A delicious buffet you will not find anywhere else in Braunlage - promise !
